My Experience #
During my 2 weeks trip to Japan, I visited this restaurant once. We came 10 minutes after the opening time for the restaurant. The restaurant was full and there was a queue of 2 people ahead of us.
There is an IPad at the front of the restaurant which allows us to get a queue numbers.
The restaurant owner was also very considerate and provided us chairs to seat on while waiting in the queue.
After a 1 hour and 30 minutes wait, we finally got a seat. The restaurant was relatively small and could house about 12 people at a time.
The entire restaurant was only run by 1 person.
The restaurant owner was very friendly and spoke English well, so I had no trouble communicating with her.
The atmosphere in the area was really nice. Once we were inside the atmosphere was very homey.
We ordered the bacon and cheese Okonomiyaki and a vegetable Okonomiyaki. The food is very affordable and the Okonomiyaki was delicious.
The restaurant allows us to leave a message and write on the walls of the restaurants for memories and future customers to see.
Overall Experience #
Overall the experience was great. I kind of hope that the queue times were shorter but it is unrealistic as the restaurant is run by 1 person. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Vegetarian/Vegan Okonomiyaki.
